Australian Muscle Truck: Holden Releases Information on Revised Maloo Truck

Holden is giving Australian truck fans another reason to salivate. This week, GM's Australian subsidiary announced details on a few muscle cars including a revised performance-oriented Maloo, a car-based truck that could give some of the most powerful U.S.-spec trucks a run for their money.

HSV is celebrating its 25th anniversary by launching two new vehicles. First is the entry-level HSV ClubSport, which will sit below the ClubSport R8 and feature General Motors' 6.2-liter LS3 V-8, tuned to produce 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, making slightly less power than the 436-hp R8. The new Maloo will share identical engines and power ratings as the ClubSport. Standard features include 20-inch rims, sport suspension, 4-piston brake package, performance seats, navigation, and a backup camera. Production for both vehicles starts this week.
