Nissan has announced pricing on its full 2013 Pathfinder lineup after previously revealing only the starting price of the new model. The entry-level two-wheel-drive Pathfinder S trim starts at $29,095, including a $825 destination charge. The popular, high-volume SL trim starts at $35,295 for the two-wheel-drive model, and goes to $36,895 for the four-wheel drive. The pricing of the base model represents a $1020 price drop over the comparable 2012 model; however, Nissan is currently offering as much as $5500 cash back on most 2012 models. So if you're a fan of the rugged, truck-based current model, now would be a good time to buy one.
The 2013 Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 producing 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque exclusively mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Among the new features on the 2013 Pathfinder are EZ Flex and Latch and Glide seating, allowing for third-row access with a child seat installed on second-row seats, Nissan's Easy Fill tire pressure alert system, which uses the horn to notify drivers when the tires are properly inflated, and Nissan's Around View park assist system.
