Porsche's small crossover has been spotted testing. Named Macan, the Indonesian word for tiger, it's based on the same platform as Audi's Q5 and other VW Group vehicles. Expect any number of VWG powertrains, including gas and diesel 2.0-liter engines (both turbocharged) and a four-cylinder gas/electric hybrid, with automatic and double-clutch gearbox options. The Macan may also come in five- and three-door configurations, like the Range Rover Evoque. Production of Porsche's smallest SUV will start in the second half of 2013 at the Leipzig plant in Germany, alongside the Cayenne.
