One of the original crossovers that helped define the now-major market segment, the 2013 Nissan Murano gets some updates to keep it fresh in its ever-growing field of competitors. Price changes to the 2013 model vary by trim, from less than $100 to more than $1000. Changes also include the addition of a new Value Package on the popular SV trim. As with the 2012 and earlier Murano models, the 260-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 with a continuously variable automatic is your sole powertrain choice.

The SV Value Package bundles a power liftgate,nine-speaker Bose audio system with dual rear subwoofers, and a navigation system. The $2270 package price represents a savings of $830 over purchasing all of the features as a la carte options. Also available as part of the Navigation and Platinum Edition packages is Nissan's suite of Safety Shield technologies, which include Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Lane Departure Warning. The two new colors added to the 2013 Murano's palette are Midnight Garnet and Gun Metallic.

Other features available include a dual-panel moonroof, 7-inch color monitor, rearview monitor, eight-way power driver's seat, push-button ignition, 11-speaker Bose audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free calling. The 2013 Murano is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.
