If there were any question as to how the SUV buying public would respond to the Range Rover Evoque, that question has been overwhelmingly answered in the affirmative, with the Halewood plant working around-the-clock to keep up with global demand for the upscale cute-ute. But for some that just must have the bespoke treatment, only a customized package will do. To satisfy those demanding customers, U.K.-based Kahn Design has introduced its Vesuvius Edition package.

If you're seeking understated, below-the-radar elegance, you might want to look elsewhere. Matte black figures prominently as the contrast color and texture, applied to the grille, side vents, and center section of the front bumper. The rest of the car, including the roof, hood stripe, grille accent vents, and brake calipers, are finished in copper or Vesuvius Orange. The head-turning package rolls on 22-inch wheels.

The two-tone treatment is applied to the interior as well, with the seats finished in black leather and Alcantara with Vesuvius Orange detail, contrast stitching on the transmission tunnel, dashboard, and armrests, with the entire interior getting the diamond-quilted treatment. The custom gauges receive a custom color treatment of...you guessed it, Vesuvius Orange.

But if the Halloweenish color palette isn't your cup of tea, the company will design a custom vehicle with an interior "akin to your living room," for a price, of course.

What kind of scratch are we talking? The price of this particular specimen is the equivalent of $89,598 U.S., or about $6000 more than the starting price of the full-size 2013 Range Rover in the U.S. Can you put a price tag on exclusivity? Kahn Design has.
