Although the 2014 Ram ProMaster is based on the Fiat Ducato, the new full-size van is unmistakably a Ram, sharing similar styling, features, and powertrains found in other Ram trucks. It's not just like any other commercial van either, as it's based on a front-drive architecture.

The ProMaster can be had with two engines: Chrysler's familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, paired with a six-speed automatic, or a new-to-the-U.S. EcoDiesel 3.0-liter four-cylinder engine that comes paired to an automated six-speed manual transmission. This combination is expected to be the most fuel efficient, with mpgs in the mid-20s.

The ProMaster comes equipped with features that are geared to make things much easier for the driver, including a rearview camera and parking sensors. The bonus? The ProMaster has a three-piece front bumper that allows only the pieces that are damaged to be replaced, which means that if there's a mishap, owners won't have to replace the entire bumper.

While the bumper is a neat party trick, it gives the ProMaster a face only a mother could love. Will it scare away the judges?
