Dear Truck Trend,

I really enjoyed the article "Tow, Canada" by Howard J. Elmer in your November/December 2013 issue. This is exactly the type of article that makes your publication a valuable source of useful information. However, in an effort to help you keep your excellent reputation, I feel it necessary to bring to your attention an important correction. The article states that Triple Hookup is not allowed in Ontario. You could just imagine my shock, to learn from your magazine that I have been breaking the law for most of my life. So, I checked into it again.

According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation website, under the heading of Recreational Vehicle Information For Drivers of Motor Homes, Truck Campers and House Trailers, "Cars, passenger vans and SUVs are not permitted to tow more than one trailer or one vehicle. Motor homes, trucks, pickup trucks and truck campers are legally permitted to tow two trailers or a trailer and a motor vehicle behind a trailer." If you would be so kind as to print the necessary correction in you next issue, I would be most grateful. Keep up the good work. I look forward to every issue. May you always sleep under tall trees.

Dear Reader,

We're glad you confirmed that you haven't been breaking the law after all this time! Thank you for the information. We've passed it along to Mr. Elmer as well.
