While most manufacturers adjust their pricing higher for a new model year, Nissan decided to cut the price of the 2014 Murano CrossCabriolet -- making the MSRP $42,840 including the $845 destination fee, which is $2545 lower than last year's model.
Nissan's funky-fun-loving convertible crossover SUV carries into 2014 mostly the same for its fourth year with two new color options, Midnight Garnet and Gun Metallic, along with redesigned standard 20-inch 5-spoke titanium finish aluminum-alloy wheels.
Based off of the Murano LE platform, all CrossCabriolets are all-wheel drive and share the same 3.5-liter, 24-valve DOHC V-6 with 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque; that engine is mated with the second-generation Xtronic CVT with Adaptive Shift Control. The CrossCabriolet's interior continues to come standard with leather seats and matching wood trim, available in three colors: Black, Cashmere, and Camel. Bluetooth hands-free phone system, Bose premium audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio, and RearView Monitor are also standard. Nissan's navigation system with NavTraffic real-time traffic information is an available option.
The 2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet is on sale now at U.S. dealers.
