If you're an outdoor enthusiast, chances are you've heard of Ducks Unlimited, the 76 year-old waterfowl and wildlife preservation organization. Those with a particular fondness or affiliation with the organization can now show their pride with the availability of a special Ducks Unlimited package for General Motors full-size pickups and SUVs. As part of the package, BFGoodrich has been selected as the tire vendor of choice for the pickup models, with Michelin being the exclusive supplier for the SUV models.
American Luxury Coach, a GM-approved up-fitter, adds special gauge faces, seating surfaces with the Ducks Unlimited logo on the front headrests, and a special ALC logo denoting the special trim on the seatbacks, unique all-weather floor mats, and exterior badging and window graphics. An available lift kit option is from Fabtech.
The package is available on 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models, which receive BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain or All-Terrain T/A KM2 or KO tires in 18- or 20-inch sizes, while the Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon get Michelin LatitudeTour HP or LTX A/T 18- or 20-inch tires. Part of the proceeds from the sale of each of the special-edition models will go toward preservation efforts of waterfowl and wildlife habitats.
