In the run-up to Super Bowl XLVII, many companies released either sneak-preview clips or their full ads on YouTube ahead of their spots' broadcast debut. Chrysler held its cards close to the chest, and would only confirm that it would have ads during the Big Game.
In contrast to the fantastic, CGI-generated, or slapstick humor shown in most of the other Super Bowl spots, both "Farmer" and "Whole Again" were quieter and more reflective in nature, paying tribute to farmers and armed service members, as well as showcasing charitable causes with which the respective brands were involved.
But the top five list did have a few funny spots, with Samsung's "The Next Big Thing" featuring Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd coming in third and Hyundai's "Team" spot showcasing the 2013 seven-passenger Santa Fe taking fifth.
