There are no words associated with this video, which Mercedes-Benz released on Facebook. Just the sound of engine noise, tires on dirt, and music. Yet the visuals will be enough to make you want to scream through the desert in this one-off Mercedes. It started off as a G63 AMG, and then a truck bed was put on the back, as well as an additional axle.

The entire video consists of this vehicle making a run through the Namibian desert. There are a couple of quick shots of the interior, views of the scenery, and closeups of the wheels and tires and the gauges. But then things get interesting.

You see a two-lane road that divides the flat desert. Then the G63 6x6 jumps over the road, as it starts the high-speed portion of the run. Next, it is on a curving dirt road, sliding through the turns. While much of this is shown in real time, there are a few sweet drifting shots done in slow-mo.

Next up for the 6x6: slower-speed off-roading. The Mercedes makes its way up a massive slick-rock mountain, and does some low-speed rock-crawling before heading back down into the desert. In a couple of shots you can see that one wheel is off the ground.

Then it goes into the dunes. You can see the Mercedes jump over dunes, launching completely off the ground. More fun in the sand, then the G-Class drives back onto the two-lane road that was seen at the beginning.

We hope this 6x6 somehow makes it into production, but even if it does, we doubt it would come to the U.S.
