Kia released a teaser photo of a concept CUV to be exhibited at next month's Frankfurt motor show, which it says "hints at a possible future B-segment contender ready to take on the urban environment." The concept was developed specifically with the European market in mind, so it's unknown whether the vehicle will be offered worldwide or just in Europe.

The Nissan Juke is one of the most polarizing SUVs we've encountered in recent memory, and not just for the obvious reason of its unusual styling. Its sloping roofline gives it snug rear-seat room and nearly nonexistent cargo capacity, making the slightly larger Rogue a much more practical left-brain proposition. But the Rogue doesn't have the Juke's feisty turbocharged engine or available six-speed manual. Despite the compromises inherent in its design, the Juke is selling like crazy, especially in Europe. The Juke's success has also caught the eye of another Asian juggernaut: Kia.

But considering the runaway success of the Kia Soul in the U.S., positively annihilating the Scion xB and Nissan Cube in sales, it seems Kia would be foolish to leave so many potential sales on the table by not offering it in the U.S. Come back to Truck Trend next month to see Kia's SUV concept and other vehicles up close.
