the state than the 50,000-plus student flagship public university, the University of Texas at Austin. Putting two icons of the Lone Star State together, Chevrolet has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the University of Texas Athletics program, as well as the Ex-Students' Association, the university's alumni group. The campaign will prominently feature the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado in multiple capacities, at athletic events, television and radio spots, coaches' endorsements, event signage, ticket box offices, and as the backdrop at all official media conferences and interviews.

In addition to those placements, a Chevrolet Silverado will be the official tow vehicle for Bevo, the team's live longhorn bull mascot. The marketing collaboration with the Texas Longhorns follows the announcement of a promotional tour for the 2014 Silverado in Texas, which gets its own dedicated campaign separate from the national effort, further emphasizing the state's importance to the full-size truck market.

Chevrolet kicked off its "Strong" campaign this summer, featuring country music artist Will Hoge in Texas, and will roll out the advertising campaign nationally in the months ahead.
