Shortly after the demise of the full-size, rear-drive Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham sedan, the body-on-frame Escalade SUV arrived to become the premium automaker’s flagship model. Now in its fourth generation, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade is more distinct from the Tahoe and Yukon full-size SUVs. A new video calls the 2015 Escalade the next luxury icon.
In the video, a couple heads from a private jet to a 2015 Escalade waiting in the hangar. After leaving the airport, they drive past several windmills as they distance themselves from the city. Eventually the couple arrives in a secluded spot to gaze at the full moon.

The idea of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade as another icon may not be so far-fetched. Cadillac’s Bob Ferguson has hinted at the possibility of the automaker using the well-known Escalade nameplate on a larger crossover, though the idea isn’t finalized.
