Navigators interior is waay superior to the escalade.the switch gear is where its supposed to be,"in the floor" and not the damn column.

They need to get off there ass and differentiate hardware fords bring too conservative with rebodies.. using old architecture is dumb. Change it greatly inovate add any give it some damn power! Ford wusses out on strong performance engines sometimes. I want ford/lincoln to suceed!

Lincoln will fail. Prime example is the Blackwood. 3 years of production then cancelled

Motor Trend Magazine Can you guys find an 1996/1997 article to help back me up on the Tahoe vs. Expedition comparison? I know I have one in my collection from either you guys or Automobile Mag.

Here's my beef with Ford. When the Expedition came out I was in LOVE! Of course, I was 13. I dreamed of the day I could drive a spruce green XLT. Then a year later when the Navigator came out, and in 99' when they had that sort of tan brown color I was again in love. The Ford products didn't overall perform better than GM but people were sick of only one option, and the Ford Fans as well as young families which no preference in brand rejoiced that they could get into something else that offered an extra row of seating, higher ride height and arguably more modern and attractive looks. While the 15" front end on the Navigator looks good the rest ( at least in the photo) hasn't changed. The current car is horribly ugly which was hard to do because it was so similar in body style to the 2nd Gen which was a looker. Things like the cheap looking rear wiper, the blah mirrors and ancient roof rack style are in need of change. Deleting some of the gaudy chrome around the car would be smart, especially around taillights (which are also ugly) and windows. They need a completely new interior too with better materials (higher quality than the MKZ please) and a more car like dash. The new GM lineup is ugly as hell (save for the Yukon Denali) so it shouldn't be hard to beat it in the looks department. Put a supercharged 8 instead of a 6 (this is a LUX SUV and in this market people aren't looking for MPG they are looking for extravagance) and your might just have a winner

We shall see....I think the escalade needs any optional lsa engine.

Introducing the Lincoln Motor Company Navigator. I think it will beat up Escalade!

Lincoln can do it, but that looks a lot like the old one. They need to start afresh

It's not if Lincoln can. It's more if Lincoln will? More that if Ford will?

@Josh Alsbury Actually, the Blackwood was produced in 2002 for little over a year. You are probably thinking of the Mark LT which was from 2005-08, but is still sold in Mexico
