When most people think of capable off-road vehicles, the Jeep Wrangler, Hummer H1 (or its military kin, the HMMWV or "Humvee" and the Land Rover Defender come to mind. But Romanian utility/vehicle maker Ghe-O is out to change peoples' minds about the hierarchy of off-roaders. The company, based in Bucharest, Romania, has released a series of YouTube videos showing its vehicles' capabilities.

In an ominous, epic video, the company shows its Rescue SUV in some extreme situations and appears to highlight its amphibious capability with add-on air bladders that look like they’re strapped onto the tires. That the tires are the farthest-forward part of the vehicle means it can climb over obstacles that would stop other vehicles with excessive front overhang. Also shown are optional rear tracks.

Further solidifying its status as the most capable extreme rescue vehicle, toward the end, the video shows the Ghe-O Rescue pulling a Defender and a Humvee out of the snow. Whether the two vehicles are legitimately stuck or just staged for the purposes of the video, we don't know. Regardless, if the Ghe-O Rescue can do half of what it appears to be capable of in this video, it looks like a formidable tool in emergency rescue operations.
