Nissan is recalling SUVs including the Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX35, and QX60 for a potential issue with the antilock brake system.

The Problem: During light braking on rough roads, an issue with the ABS brake pressure output software may lead to an increase in stopping distance, which could put drivers at a greater risk of a crash.

The Fix: Nissan will notify owners, who can then take their affected vehicles to the dealer to reprogram the brake system. Owners may also contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 151,695 SUVs are affected including 2013-2014 Nissan Pathfinders manufactured from April 18, 2012 through September 20, 2013; 2013 Infiniti JXs manufactured September 15, 2011 through January 16, 2013; and 2014 QX60s built from January 17, 2013 through September 20, 2013.
