Pricing information is now out on the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, and it will cost $3000 over an equivalent V-6 model. However, the Hybrid's competitive combined fuel economy figure of 26 mpg gives buyers a compelling reason to choose it over the standard V-6 model, which achieves a still-competitive 22 mpg combined in 2WD form and 21 for the 4WD model.
The Hybrid drivetrain is offered on the SV, SL, and Platinum models, with the lowest-priced SV 2WD model starting at $35,970, including destination. The topline Pathfinder Platinum 4WD Hybrid goes for $45,210 including destination.
The hybrid model is distinguished from non-hybrid Pathfinders by LED taillights, and Nissan Puredrive Hybrid badging.
The hybrid has the same 19.5-gallon fuel tank as the non-hybrid model and, thanks to the use of a compact lithium-ion battery, has the same cargo and interior volume as the non-hybrid model. Pricing for the full 2014 Pathfinder lineup is below.
