Here are prototypes of the 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado running on the same test strip, giving us an excellent nose-to-tail comparison between GM's two upcoming midsize pickups. The Colorado and Canyon get different grille designs inspired by their respective full-size truck stablemates. Both still have their early placeholder headlight assemblies installed, but the shapes and outlines of their front lamps are clearly discernible. As with the latest Silverado and Sierra pickups, the Canyon and Colorado get unique headlight treatments but seem to share the same foglights and other front fascia features. The latest GMC Canyon grille gets three round-edged horizontal strips, while the Colorado gets a Silverado-inspired split grille. A lot of work has been done to eliminate the rather soft look of the current global S10/Colorado trucks, for a macho look more in keeping with the typical American pickup.
Sorry Folks, we can't show you the full images at the moment but you can see it in our upcoming September/October 2013 issue, set to hit news stands on July 16, 2013.
