The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter may be a commercial vehicle, but it makes no bones about being a premium product, and with prices approaching $60,000 for a passenger version, that positioning is reflected in its pricing. Likewise, motorhomes built off the Sprinter chassis likewise fetch a premium. The 2014 Airstream Interstate is no exception, with a price tag ranging from $146,300 to $149,006. The Interstate is available in two lengths, and is powered by a 188-hp, 325-lb-ft 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6. The efficient powertrain enables a maximum towing capacity of up to 6400 pounds and a highway fuel economy rating of more than 18 mpg.

For that princely six-figure sum, you'd expect some appropriately sumptuous trimmings, and the Interstate delivers. On the outside, the 2014 Airstream Interstate reflects the changes to the 2014 Sprinter, including LED driving lights and HID headlights, and a new grille design. On the inside, a 22-inch Samsung flat-screen TV and Blu-Ray player provide the entertainment, supplemented by a Kenwood Multimedia System. The floor is finished in rugged yet classy vinyl plank-style flooring. The Interstate is truly fun for the whole family with belted seated for nine passengers, but sleeping accommodations just for Mom and Dad. Just the ticket for dropping off the kids at Grandma and Grandpa's for some couples R&R. Multiple floorplan configurations are available for a bespoke motorhome experience.
