I agree with the comments here. I think this is a good looking Truck with a forward-thinking design and hope this is the next Frontier. I was excited to learn the Chevy and GMC mid size versions will be available with a Diesel, being a long time diesel driver. Unfortunately, I've looked at them in person at the Philly auto show and they seem cheaply built. The interior materials, to me, did not stack up to their over-priced stickers. They are also pretty large. I'm also disappointed that Toyota says it will not be bringing a diesel with the new Tacoma in 2016. I personally think the materials and fit/finish of the current (old) Tacoma is better than the new Canyon/Colorado. I was able to play with them all at the same time at the auto show.

This Nissan, if the same or similar in the USA, looks to be a winner, especially if it comes with the 2.8 Cummins. I will buy one without blinking an eye. I currently drive a Ram 2500 Cummins but I don't need a truck that size any more. A smaller Cummins diesel will be perfect for commuting, hauling and light off-roading.

Bring this as the next Frontier with the Cummins!!!!!! Yeah!!! Winner winner chicken dinner!

After seeing the colorado and now tacoma released this looks way better to me. If Nissan can keep the length shorter then Tacoma and also this is critical bring the diesel with the first release I will buy one!. The colorado is huge, instead of messing with the Titan where there is tons of competition they should work on the Frontier and something even smaller with so much less competition give us great mpg and small and less then medium size and you have a market to yourself! This again is a good looking truck and I like that it looks sophisticated as well vs trying to go the Raptor look, you can always have special packages for that but most people use the truck to go to work, drive on dates, drive clients etc so if it looks sophiticated as well its a plus!

Very nice looking truck.  I'll definitely be in the market for a mid-size diesel truck when they become available.  I would buy a Hilux in a heartbeat, but we all know that story.  If the GM is the only choice, I'll go that route, but it's not my preference.  Hopefully Nissan gives us something more interesting.

Cummins, 4-door, 4wd please!!!  I like this better than the Chevy/GMC attempts at a compact truck.  Those seem to be designed as mid-size versions of their respective full-size trucks.  I may be in the minority, but for me smaller and more efficient is better than trying to match full-size power and capacity.
