Jeeps are known for taking the road less traveled, and now a map of those roads can be displayed right on the off-roader's hood. Thanks to Mopar's Jeep Performance Parts, outdoor enthusiasts can now personalize the hoods of their Jeeps with decals showing some of the U.S.'s most iconic off-road trails.

Off-road lovers can now choose among popular trails such as Hell's Revenge, Poison Spider, and the Rubicon Trail, but if they have a favorite trail of their own, they can also create their own map that features topographical elevation or street level graphics. Buyers can also choose between two colors for the border, in addition to being able to select a point of interest to be marked on the map.

The decals can be created at www.mopar.com/jeephoods, where a map tool allows you to choose a map of some of the most popular trails. Customers can also type in a zip code to find maps that way. Once a hood decal is selected, a part number and unique design code is generated, which the customer then takes to their Jeep dealership for ordering. Decals will be shipped to the dealer, however customers can choose either dealership or independent installation. The decals are designed to fit perfectly within the hood dimensions of 2007-2015 Jeep Wranglers, 2014-2015 Jeep Cherokees, and 2011-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Produced in conjunction with 3M films, they're also covered by a three-year warranty to guard against fading or manufacturer defect.

Go online to create your custom map, which will cost you $295, plus installation.
