Amin Abdolmaleki ok ok lets go
I like the idea of the V6. Interestingly, it puts out more/about the same power to the 5.3 V8 that came with my Tahoe in 01. Will I actually buy a V6? No, but it is an interesting idea.
The motor they use it excellent though. My father had the motor in a V6 Camaro he leased from 2010-2013. Put 40k on it and it ran beautifully. Should be a good motor for the truck
It is surprising considering GM's 5.3 gets better mpg than Ford's V6 Ecoboost. Regardless, any GM engine is going to have a better powertrain warranty than Ford's turbo or conventional.

This is the future of the light duty truck market! v6's and small diesels. Toyota needs to pull up the slack with the Tundra, in the "MPG" dept that is, they have some of the best engineers! In the meantime Dodge is the true leader in MPG's, for the light duty truck market! In my experience, Toyota makes a "Simple" pickup with poor mileage that will run 300k with no issues.
Makes sense why our 2013 f150 cost more then our 2013 ram 1500, right now with our gm preferred member card we can get a 2014 chevy 1500 z71 crew for $6000 less than our ram and $6400 less than our f150 just go shopping if you have good credit you'll see the difference!
If they're American, they'd cost a lot more.
Well yeah the had a V8 shortage when they first came out all they had was V6s so of course they sold more
But when all crew cab gm pickups are built in mexico and made up of 60% of China and Mexico parts, which truck trend and 10,000+ Google articles have already stated, but it's on the window sticker of the new trucks aswell, and it's sad, when the Toyota Tundra and Honda Ridgeline are made up of 75% American parts then built and assembled in the US! Ford f150 is also 75% and built in the US. dodge is 66% now ford is taking all trucks built in mexico out and bringing everything to the usa for there entire truck line up! Gm china!
Kinda like the 6.7powerstroke made in mexico... or the Cummins built here but sent to mexico to be put in dodges... we need these 100% american...
Lol..and significant oil leaks. .
Thanks to FORD
You just can't stop the ol Chevy 4.3l. I love my 97 backed with a 5spd
troche cienka ta przyczepa do tego auta ))
Es una cheyenne v 8 con gps y doble cabina
Why this is new..... V-6 w/V-8 power and better gas mileage. Plus if you're going to put the money down for a V-8 most people but a diesel
Love the older Chevys hate the new foreign made gm trucks it's a shame! And there sales being way down are showing it!
Chevy truck = sexy....I just bought a 1973 Blazer and planning to put a 8" lift on it and couldn't be happier
V6 Ecoboost only 1 less mpg-hwy but more HP and way more Torque - I believe about 420 lb-ft to GM 5.3's only 380 lb-ft. I'd gladly sacrifice 1 mpg-hwy for that much more power.
