Well its good that there makeing a smaller truck with a full size capabilities cuz we all know there some people who just can't handle a full size truck. Pluse not every one is going to want a full size truck because they dont tow or haul that much a year. Iam talken about those people who go fishing and hunting and move a couch or like an 60 inch tv or even fire wood for example but haven that capability to pull a bigger trailer or pull anthor car or truck out of a ditch or snow bank etc you got the proper amount of power to do it. Thats how I feel about the new Colorado

GM needs to worry about dropping a few models and producing higher quality autos left in the lineup. wait not only GM but all of them.....GM is just the worst.

I'm proud of Saab for refusing to use the faulty GM switches and other parts, they tried their best. GM wanted them to take a Opel Vectra (Chevy Malibu) and rebagade it and try to call it a luxury car sounds like GM WAS CRAZY. I'm not surprised GM went bankrupt it should be in their interested to produce a good product they would have more profit and never had needed a bailout

Edward Amyx no that's how government "works" they're very wasteful since it's not really their own money they're throwing away.

No, they should compare the small shortcomings/ size advantages vs full size and leave the weaker same size class to argue over the consumer crumbs:) Go Bowtie!

When you see the price that GM is putting on them, you might as well get a full size!

They to worry across the whole board if they want to keep it on the road

Yes they should. I look for the government to take over GM again real soon. There's no need in making 2 trucks just alike GMC/ CHEVROLET same truck and the government needs to put a stop to it before GM goes under again.

I think it's smart to show just how close to a full size truck these new mid-sizers really are. Many people think of mid-size trucks as little two person carriers with no payload or towing capacity and low ground clearance. This shows there is little sacrifice given up with the mid-size truck and that it's still very capable while efficient and easy to drive/park. That Chevy with a 4" lift and 36's will look sinister! It's 109lbs heavier than a Tacoma but also 17" longer which means more room!

My 05 Colorado was abused by a dairy for years before i purchased it, and it keeps on going regardless of the damage. Seems like the new models will be better.

Own a 2005 Colorado. Towed 3000 lbs. 300 miles. No mechanical problems yet. Mileage is at 117,000 now. Had to do brake work, and get a battery. Change my own oil and filters regularly

David Garza you lose torque going full throttle because the hp curve and torque curve drop off at different spots torque has a lower rpm it is peak at so only runnin half throttle should in theory out torque a inline 6 runnin wide open
