The second-generation Acura RDX has been a hit for Honda's upscale brand, second in sales only to the larger MDX crossover. After pursuing a sporty theme with the first-generation turbocharged I-4 model that only got a lukewarm reception from customers, the second-generation that debuted for the 2013 model year went back to a naturally aspirated V-6, improved refinement and ride comfort, and more conservative styling, and sales took off.
Acura stays the course for the 2015 model year with the RDX, with no major mechanical, styling, or feature changes. But prices go up $375 across the board for all RDX models. A new exterior color, Kona Coffee, was added for the 2014 model year.
Prices for the 2015 models are now $35,790 for the base RDX model, $37,190 for the AWD model, $39,490 for the Technology Package, and $40,890 for the AWD model with the Technology Package. All prices include $895 destination charge. The 2015 RDX goes on sale at Acura dealerships today.
