Chevy should call 911. The new 911 Porsche has 4 wheel steering and so does the new Acura RLX, Audi also has a prototype.  The handling is said to be remarkable as it was in 2002 to 2004 when chevy had it on their trucks.  Anything to make a truck more agile, should never be taken away.  Its a big hit with 4x4 mud trucks now as well as it drives the truck out of the ruts made in mud and snow. Also follows a trailer when you back up so the trailer never can get away and jacknife on you. Zero trailer whip when passing and takes you out of a high speed skid that even a 16 year old could handle, pretty much straightens itself out with very little effort and zero breaking which gives ultimate control when the wheels are free spinning on ice and the rear wheels steer to take you out of a skid situation.  AN incredible engineering feat that I have in my 2004 which I will never trade unless 4 wheel steer comes back.

Chevy is also too low to the ground, can't get over a snowbank without damaging the front bumper-ridiculous.  Start thinking about air ride so you can lift the truck at a push of a button.  Big rigs use it with little maintenance with trucks that hit 3 million miles on their Tachometer. All you have to do is copy that system? and make it last only for 200,000KM?? Whats wrong with you???

I forgot ford designed all of the powerstroke engines. Oh wait that was international. And I'm sure you can't face the facts and admit that the first few were underpowered garbage.

Yeah let's see you put 11,800 behind an ecobost. I've got a suburban with the 8.1L vortec in it rated at 12k for towing. I bet if you put them head to head towing 11,800 mine would start and stop quicker handle hills better and not have the future major problems yours will have.

the 6 speed auto is a result of the collaboration between GM and Ford...

meh. I think this looks like crap and that the F150 looks much better. However, that is based on personal preference. What you won't be able to argue with is the performance comparisons. The F150 is going to make chevy and dodge irrelevant for the next couple years.

William Farrar chevy may have sold more vehicles through the first six months of last year but not trucks. That contest wasn't even close. Frankly it's never going to be either. Ford will rule the truck market forever.

Chrysler was bailed out in the 80's not Ford. Lee Iacocca was head of Chrysler at the time. He got them back on their feet.

Lol know your facts buddy. My ecoboost is rated at 10,800 pounds and it's the crew cab. The max tow on ecoboost is 11,800. Look at the numbers now dodge and ford are both over 800 lbs ft of torque, ford has been for four years now. Chevy is still at 750.

William Farrar
William Farrar

actually i have and they are the first ones to do that. and learn to spell my name right for one. and chevys 5.3 will out do that ecoboost any day of the week. it supposed to be getting 22-23 mpg but it only gets 16-18 and can only tow 9k pounds, whereas the 5.3 can tow up to 11,200. chevy doesnt need to add twin turbos to get the power and torque they need. and the powerstroke hasnt always been more powerful than the duramax. that was making more power and torque than the powerstroke starting in 2006. go check it out

but last year, chevy sold more vehicles than Ford did for the first 6 months. so whos the one behind now?

Let's not forget their 23 million vehicle they had until the government said they didn't want to force them to recall so they didn't go bankrupt.

Chris Pacino

Ford was too in the 1980's! So what's your point?

Chris Pacino

Ford did the same thing in the 1980's until the government forced their hand.

Chevy death traps? You must not remember back in the 80's when Ford's transmission problems caused the death of over 100 people and injured 1700 more.

In the 80's they had a 23 million vehicle recall before the government stepped and said they "coudln't" be forced into recalling all 23 million so they didn't go into bankruptcy.
