Dear Truck Trend,

Let me first start off by saying that I just subscribed to your magazine, and it's one of the best decisions I've made in a while. So far so good, although, I noticed a possible typo in your "Conservative Party" article on the 2014 Toyota Tundra (which I personally think has a more distasteful exterior design than the pre-updated truck). You mention the part about towing capacities toward the end. You mentioned the 2014 Silverado/Sierra twins tow up to 12,000 pounds with the 5.3-liter EcoTec 3 V-8. Isn't that with the 6.2-liter? Or is there a specific configuration that you can opt for to tow that much with the 5.3-liter? I could have sworn you could only tow up 11,500 pounds with the smaller V-8.

Dear Reader,

You're right. Maximum towing capacity with the 5.3-liter is 11,500 pounds with the Max Trailering Package. Nice catch! As far as the styling of the new Tundra is concerned, the Truck Trend staff is somewhat divided. But there are different grilles for the various trim levels.
