A Porsche Cayenne with light camouflage has been spotted cold weather testing. With its lightly disguised front end and taillights, the prototype is good indication that the sporty SUV is soon due for a mid-cycle refresh and facelift.

Read about the smaller Porsche Macan SUV here.

Up front, the Cayenne is getting revised headlights and bumper and the fender-mounted turn signals are moving to the side view mirrors. Around back, the LED taillights get new graphics for a more three-dimensional look that mimic the upcoming smaller Porsche Macan SUV. The rear fascia is also getting small revisions. Additionally, the Cayenne will sport new wheel designs and will likely get minor interior updates as well.

Like the Porsche Panamera sedan, the Cayenne is expected to get a revised engine lineup, which could include a plug-in hybrid model. Currently, Porsche offers nine Cayenne models including a hybrid, turbodiesel and the top-of-the-line Cayenne Turbo S as well as the more obtainable 2014 Cayenne Platinum Edition. We expect the face-lifted Cayenne to arrive later this year as a 2015 model.
