With the increment of car selling rates, pollution level also increases. It doesn’t matter whether engine is diesel or gasoline but people want a less fuel consuming echo friendly engine for their cars. Ford has already made few such engines whose example can be seen at http://www.buyusedengine.com/used_engine.php?make=Ford but there are still many goals to attain.

Please do, this might make Ford add the 3.2 (?) 5 cylinder PS to the 150!

I have been waiting for a return of the diesel suburban for years now... I would debate a 1500 but only if it wasnt the price of the 2500/3500.. any major manufacturer now in a diesel with options tops $70,000 come on what regular people can justify that pricetag... its crazy... a suburban gas loaded is over 60... these numbers are just crazy... btw that would be for a crew/quad cab longbed dually.....

its still NOT an izuzu, Fiat, international (6.0-6.4) or Cummins, its a Ford 6.7...OK im partial to Cummins, mainly because of their consistent bullet-proof rep and the fact they are inline-six motors. But its too bad the dodge trucks fall apart around the Cummins powerplant.

Chevy should have been had a diesel engine to it's pickup trucks.

The 1500 series 6.5 turbo diesels in the 90's were good trucks, and way before Dodge. I am restoring a 96 Z71 turbo diesel for my daughter.

If you do not have the right facts then please do not respond. Ford makes its 6.7 and its built in Mexico. Yes some of the technology came from Europe, but most of the parts come from the USA and was engineered in the USA.

Ford does not own Cummins. Never have. Cummins is its own company.

Why put a new engine in it? Government Motors is already having a fire sale on the ones they have now.
