Dirt Every Day's Fred Williams has a big soft spot for old Jeeps. Williams also has a bad Craigslist habit. Combine the two, and you've got this week's episode of Dirt Every Day, where Williams heads to a Texas ranch to buy an old 1978 Jeep CJ-7 sight-unseen, and then attempts to drive it back to California.

Having lived a hard life, Williams' new Jeep was in rough shape when he picked it up in Texas, with the classic Jeep needing a jump start right off the bat. After getting the CJ-7 running, he drives off to his buddy's shop to fix the Jeep up as much as possible before the long drive back to the Golden State.

Once at the shop, Williams' re-wires the CJ, fits it with new lights, and even makes a trip to a local pick-and-pull to get a new rear axle and some new seats for the Jeep. Check out the work Williams puts into the 1978 Jeep CJ-7 to prepare it for its road trip in the latest Dirt Every Day below.
