Accessories to solve problems, improve performance, and enhance braking

Diesel engines are known for outliving their gasoline cousins by a few hundred thousand miles -- and for having grunt to spare. But there are a few problems particular to diesel pickups and SUVs that can be solved by adding one or two of the following accessories. Some also improve the towing, braking, and overall performance abilities of the Ford SuperDuty pickups and Excursions powered by the 7.3L PowerStroke, Chevrolet Silverados, and GMC Sierras motivated by the 6.6L Duramax, and Dodge Rams powered by the 5.9L Cummins.
