As with the prior model year, the 2012 Pilot is available in four model choices (Pilot LX, EX, EX-L and Touring), and each is offered in either 2-wheel-drive or 4-wheel-drive configuration. The Pilot is assembled from domestic and globally sourced parts at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, Alabama.

Honda will apply a slew of updates to its big three-row SUV, the Pilot, for the 2012 model year. The Japanese automaker has released a single photo of the 2012 Pilot, showing the mild exterior changes in store for the SUV.
The 2012 Honda Pilot has arrived: while it looks like it's only received some subtle tweaks to its front fascia and engine, but those tweaks to add up. The new Pilot looks more handsome and gets better gas mileage.
The Honda Pilot eight-passenger SUV receives a wide range of upgrades for 2012 with a sleeker front-end design, enhanced interior features and an EPA highway fuel economy rating of 25 mpg on two-wheel-drive models, an increase of 2 mpg compared to 2011 models.
