Fleetwood's RV Group, a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, today announced the launch of its 2008 American Eagle and American Tradition luxury motor coaches during last month's American Coach Association (ACA) rally. Camped along scenic Myrtle Beach, S.C., nearly 300 ACA members were among the first to view the restyled models and newly designed American Coach logo.

The 2008 American Eagle offers eight unique floor plans, while the Tradition offers six, and both offer a long list of exterior and interior innovations. Exterior highlights include impressive new graphics, curved front and rear caps with seamless hidden-fastener molding, and the new chrome American Coach logo -- giving Eagle and Tradition a boldly elegant appearance.

Interior styling innovations have been made to further ease the driving experience and create a sophisticated residential feel. Features include a contemporary dash with lower-profile instrument panel, leather furniture, 84" ceiling heights, and decorative living room/galley ceiling plenum with accent lighting.

"This is the most exciting launch for our American Coach product line since its debut in 1991," said Paul Eskritt, president of Fleetwood RV. "The new logo and product styling epitomize the allure of our American Coach brand. The 2008 Eagle and Tradition are also an excellent example of our mission to include customer and dealer feedback in our product planning and development process. This was reinforced at the rally in South Carolina, which was one of the best-selling events in American Coach history."

"I am extremely impressed with the changes on the 2008 Eagle and Tradition," said Dominic Calabro, president of Lazydays Crown Club in Tampa, Fla. "I didn't think there was room to add more innovations and features, but the American Coach team has done it again. The new logo and product styling were very well-received by our rally customers; which undoubtedly will continue back at the dealerships."

Additional model year 2008 highlights on the American Eagle and Tradition include:

• Navion(R)/ R5000 information and entertainment center (AM, FM, single CD, MP3, camera monitor with one-way audio)
• New entry handle with integrated key pad (Eagle model only)
•Larger power driver window
