When Aston Martin rolled out its Mercedes GL-based Lagonda concept at the 2009 Geneva auto show, no one was really surprised, but virtually everyone was horrified -- by its looks. Stung by the criticism, Aston retreated and rumors circulated the project had been killed. Now it appears Lagonda is back on, and one thing's for sure, it won't look anything like the monstrosity pictured here.

The smallest of Audi's four-ringed SUVs reportedly draws its styling from 2007's Cross Coupe Concept (pictured), meaning it's compact, stout, and replete with the usual Audi bits like a prominent grille and LED running lights. Believed to be based on the VW Tiguan and powered by a version of VW/Audi's 2.0-liter turbo four mated to a eight-speed automatic, the featherweight should easily return 30 mpg when it arrives, probably late in 2011.

Hooray Thanks Fiat.  If I see a truck built in this century and not the last. I will become a believer.

I don't think Truck Trend is reading the same tea leaves everyone else is.  They put "minor updates" for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler. There is a major change coming according to Sergio Marchionne, head of FIAT.  He says the Wrangler will get the long-awaited Pentastar V6 engine.  This will increase horsepower by at least 30%, likely more.  This is more than a minor update, guys...it's what Jeep fans have been waiting for!

@lasvegascolonel thanks for the update. This list is made months in advance before any recant detail where released and as new details are release on certain vehicles, we will be updating the list on the fly.
