It's been about 10 years since Mitsubishi sold pickups in the U.S., and the Raider marks the company's return to a highly competitive segment. It shares platforms (and engines) with the Dodge Dakota, and, like that midsize, will be available as an extended cab or double cab. A 210-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 and a 230-horsepower, 4.7-liter V-8 will be offered in 4x4 and 4x2. A six-speed manual will be available with the V-6. Models range from the LS Extended Cab to the top-line XLS Double Cab, and it looks like the Mitsu won't be getting the high-output version of the V-8.
