Concept Vehicle: Mercedes-Benz' Actros Space-Max

Finally here's one you can actually sleep in.

By Editors of Truck Trend

For big-rig drivers anywhere in the world, there's no such thing as too much comfort or too much space in their cabs. And the latest in both is the Mercedes Actros Space-Max Concept shown at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany.

The emphasis on the Space Max cab-over is sleeping comfort and relaxation space. So the sleeping bed is integrated into cab's rear bulkhead and folds out on a electro-hydraulic platform. The bed itself is 31.5 inches wide and right above it is a power-sliding sunroof for the sleeping-under-the-stars effect. Directly across from the bed is a flat-screen TV, and the lighting has been designed to be adjustable for whatever the pilot's mood may be.

In short, Mercedes-Benz products have always been as expensive as some houses. Finally here's one you can actually sleep in.
