Photo 3/21 | 1302mt 02 Chevy Luv Four Link Axle Centerline | 1. To lay out our axle centerline, we simply took a sharpie and drew lines on the concrete and lined up our lower link bars to mock up the bar positioning.
Photo 4/21 | 1302mt 03 Chevy Luv Four Link Lin Bar Tabs | 2. To build our link bar tabs we took some 3/16-inch flat bar, drilled our 5/8-inch bolt holes, and marked the rough shape using the link bushings as a template. Be sure the tab supports the whole bushing.
Photo 5/21 | 1302mt 04 Chevy Luv Four Link Rough Cut Tabs | 3. An angle grinder was used to rough cut the tabs.

Photo 10/21 | 1302mt 09 Chevy Luv Four Link Shoulder Bracket | 8. When selecting bolts for our link bars, we used Grade 8 bolts, and for the most strength ensured that the shoulder portion of the fasteners was long enough to clear the tabs.
Photo 11/21 | 1302mt 10 Chevy Luv Four Link Tacked Tabs | 9. The tabs were tacked into place, and the bushings were removed before welding them into place.
Photo 12/21 | 1302mt 11 Chevy Luv Four Link Bushings | 10. Gussets will be added to our 2x3 mounts to help with strength before we call it done.
Photo 13/21 | 1302mt 12 Chevy Luv Four Link Upper Link Bar Brackets | 11. A 2x2 square tubing was used to fab up our upper link bar brackets, and everything was mocked up into place.
Photo 14/21 | 1302mt 13 Chevy Luv Four Link Pinion Flange Angle | 12. We set the level on the upper and lower bars, and the pinion flange was set to 0 degrees.
