"The Unimog vehicles are truly legendary and have a real place in the hearts of both those who drive them and those who simply admire them, so this scaled-down U400 is undoubtedly the ultimate toy!" said Mark Hopkins, Unimog UK Sales Manager.
The Lego Unimog U400 will 15 inches long, and will consist of 2,048 pieces. Lego went to great lengths to include detailed and moving parts such as a pneumatically-operated crane, a four-wheel drive chassis, moving engine pistons, a full suspension, and a front winch.

"While the Unimog is a necessity 'workhorse' for some operations, it is also a vehicle that captures the imaginations of those who drive and work them daily, so we are delighted to be celebrating our 60th birthday by creating the most complex model in the TECHNIC range for Unimog enthusiasts to create and enjoy," said Hopkins.
The replica has a retail price of $251.75 and is available at Lego stores.
