Parts That Can Make a Difference
Cozy CargoKeeping cargo protected is a huge priority for work truck owners, and one great way to do that is the smooth, soft BedRug. Now available for both the Titan Crew Cab’s 5.5-foot bed and the King Cab’s 6.5-foot bed, BedRug uses closed-cell foam on the underside to protect the truck bed from abrasion, giving it its signature smooth surface that’s easy on your knees. A BedRug is also rugged and easy to clean, making it a good option for bed protection.
Best of Both WorldsMade from hinged aluminum-alloy panels, the UnderCover Ultra Flex tonneau cover combines the looks, strength, and weather resistance of a rigid cover with the flexibility of a folding tonneau. A tailgate seal, tough bedrails, and fully finished undersides keep cargo dry and secure, and the Ultra Flex installs with ease. It’s available from Summit Racing for most late-model pickups.
Cold-Air BalloonDiesel engines, particularly those that endure high turbo boost pressures, need a good supply of cool air to operate at peak performance. Dieselsite offers one solution for owners of the Ford 6.0L Power Stroke V-8, with its Cold Air Intake Kit and Intake Elbow. Available separately or as part of a package, they help improve airflow to the engine. The Cold Air Intake Kit alone provides about 40 percent greater airflow, and the Intake Elbow’s larger diameter and smoothed interior have reduced air resistance over stock. The company claims both work well on trucks with and without a mass airflow sensor.
Working the LineBuilt using a proprietary composite fabrication process, the EverLast series of line bodies from BrandFX helps ensure durability, long-term performance, and a high-quality appearance. These composite bodies weigh about 60 percent less than conventional steel bodies, saving thousands of dollars in fuel costs in the long term. The lightweight construction also helps improve durability, handling, performance, and payload carrying capacity. And the composite materials are corrosion-proof and resistant to oxidation, cracking, and peeling.
In for the Long HaulIf you’re putting in thousands of miles on the open road, you don’t want to be stopping every few hours for fuel. That’s why Transfer Flow offers the largest aftermarket fuel tank for the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty, a bladder-busting 60-gallon unit. Made from durable aluminized steel, the tank nearly doubles the usable fuel range, and a relocated water separator and unique exterior lines make the most of available space in the truck’s chassis. The system comes ready to go, with a full installation kit and everything needed to get the 2017 Super Duty on the road for miles and miles.

Heavy Hauling and Mud SlingingToyo announced it would make its Open Country lineup of tires available in a tough, sturdy F-Load Range. That includes the rugged, trail-ready Open Country M/T, which is available in nine LT-specific sizes for 18-, 20-, and 22-inch wheels. Toyo says the new tires cater to the ever-increasing payload and towing ratings of modern trucks, and we say they’re just the right amount of overkill.
