Other enhancements for 2009 include the addition of front and rear stabilizer bars, new "Easy Fuel" capless fuel fillers, and daytime running lamps. Redesigned comfort seats with new seat shape and front and rear foam now come standard. For the Touring and Grand Touring trims, a new AM/FM/6-disc stereo has been added. Accompanying the new stereo are seven speakers and audio control switches on the steering wheel, giving the driver complete control over their audio settings. Further additions to the Grand Touring trim are standard satellite radio, electrochromatic rearview mirror, and a one-touch open/close moonroof.
As with previous generations of the Mazda Tribute, its unibody construction and fully independent coil-sprung suspension contribute to its sporty ride. Inside the SUV, new color combinations, seating surfaces, and ergonomic enhancements enhance the ride for driver and passenger. Interior fabrics are made with 35% recycled yarns for Sport and Touring trims. Grand Touring trims now come standard with 100% vinyl-free seating surfaces.
