The 2009 Nissan Titan is offered in either King Cab or Crew Cab body styles with available 4x4 or 4x2 drivetrain configurations, along with choices of two wheelbases and four bed lengths. Four well-equipped models are available - XE, SE, PRO-4X, and LE. As the PRO-4X trim is the Titan's complete off-road package, it is available only with 4x4.
Revised features and equipment packages are part of the changes for the 2009 model year, which include new Max Utility Packages that combine some of the most popular towing and bed utility items. Also new for 2009 are a matte-black finish grille and body-color front bumper for XE models, and an auto-door locking feature to all power-doorlock-equipped Titans.
Other innovative features on the Titan are Wide-Open rear doors on King Cab models that open 168 degrees for increased interior access, a high-utility bed that includes factory-applied spray-on bedliner, a Utili-track tie-down system, and an integrated lockable bedside storage compartment.
The 2009 Titan is powered by a 5.6L DOHC Endurance V-8 engine making 317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque, which is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
