For 2009, the Suzuki XL7 midsize crossover will offer a new six-speed automatic transmission, along with improved fuel economy. By coupling the new automatic transmission with the XL7's 3.6L 24V V-6 engine with 252 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, the XL7 achieves fuel economy ratings of 17 city/24 highway with front-wheel drive and 16 city/23 highway with all-wheel drive. Seven-passenger seating remains standard.
