What's New for 2010
A year out from its major refreshing, the current Explorer's swan song will feature standard Trailer Sway Control and an available XLT Sport package. The XLT Sport package will differentiate itself from the rest of the Explorer lineup with Charcoal Black cloth seats, a white instrument cluster, all-weather floormats, black-accented wheel lips, an exterior step bar, and fascia. Exterior colors available with the package include Black, Blue Flame, Brilliant Silver, and Torch Red.
As with many other 2010 Ford models, technological enhancements such as Sync, Sirius Travel Link, and AdvanceTrac with RSC keep the Ford SUV up to date.
