Ford's compact truck will now be equipped with AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, which will help prevent scenarios involving skidding or rolling. A gyroscopic roll sensor will determine the Ranger's body roll angle and roll rate in order to preempt any potentially dangerous situation, but new combination side airbags will also make their way onto the Ranger for 2010, just in case AdvanceTrac is overwhelmed.
