What's New for 2010

The 2010 GMC Yukon and its various full-size incarnations will add two new colors: Dark Labyrinth Metallic and Sheer Silver Metallic. Other new features include OnStar 8.2 with long-range remote start and traffic probe, an enhanced battery saver mode, and a USB port in the center console. A single-speed transfer case is standard on all four-wheel drive models, while a two-speed transfer case remains optional.

Underneath the hood, all base 5.3-liter Vortec V-8 engines will incorporate E85 compatibility and cam phasing. The Yukon XL 1500 will now have an optional 6.2-liter Vortec V-8 replace the previous 6.0-liter engine. The Yukon Denali with rear-drive sports the 6.2-liter V-8 with Active Fuel Management and a taller 3.08 rear axle for improved fuel economy. The gas sipper of the Yukon line, the XFE model, earns an EPA-estimated 15 city/21 highway mpg.

The models within the Yukon line are the Yukon, Yukon Denali, Yukon XFE, Yukon XL 1500, Yukon XL 2500, and the Yukon XL Denali.
