What's New for 2010

2010 Volvo XC70 comes in two well-equipped trims: 3.2 AWD and T6 AWD.

The base 3.2 AWD trim will receive a new front grille with a larger Iron Mark logo, chrome trim accent around the side windows, and a PZEV-rated variation of its 3.2-liter inline-six with 225 horsepower in addition to the carryover ULEV-rated inline-six with an extra 10 horsepower. Other changes include a new silk metal key fob bezel, standard Sirius satellite radio preparation, and a new startup screen, user-friendly icons, and menus for the available navigation system. The Technology Package replaces the Collision Avoidance Package, while a new Multimedia Package features the Dynaudio premium sound system, Sirius satellite radio, and navigation system. As part of the Premium Package, a new steering wheel with silk metal accents is also available.

In its second year, the T6 AWD trim will add the same changes as the 3.2 AWD, plus more. More standard features include new 18-inch Merac aluminum wheels, standard leather seating surfaces, power passenger seat, dual integrated child booster seats, and classic wood interior dcor inlays. The new steering wheel with silk metal accents is also standard. Powering the T6 AWD is Volvo's turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 281 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
