For 2010 the Hyundai Santa Fe gets new powertrains as well as an updated interior and exterior. The front grille, front and rear bumpers, headlamps, fog lamps and rear taillights have been refreshed. New wheel designs, side garnish, sportier exhaust tips and streamlined roof racks provide crowning touches. The most apparent change to the interior is the new Supervision instrument gauge cluster and the integration of a built-in navigation system and optional rear view camera into the head unit. .
The Santa Fe features an all-new 6-speed automatic transaxle that helps the company meet its goals of improving fuel efficiency. The European market gets Hyundai's all-new 2.2-liter turbocharged intercooled diesel engine, while the rest of the world gets the more fuel efficient and cleaner-running Theta-II 2.4-liter gas engine.
