I'm very disappointed that Ford in the US chose not to upgrade the Ford Ranger at all. I wouldn't even think about buying an F-150 to replace the 1999 Ford Ranger that I have which has a 3.0 liter flex fuel V-6 which get good gas mileage and even better than F-50's 3.7 liter V-6. My pick would have to be the Toyota Tacoma which would have to be the next compact truck.

Ford seems to have a real problem to please with their costumers, they expect everyone to go ahead and buy big expensive truck that we don't even need. they expect us to be willing to do what they want instead of what we really want, so what's wrong with the picture. We might as well do business with  auto makers that will make smaller trucks that will fit our needs at affordable price and good on gas. So so long Ford companies. Bye Bye
