A Jeep is the perfect vehicle for driving to a remote spot in the desert, accessible only by way of dirt trails, right? Well, not if that Jeep is anything like the one Hot Rod's Finnegan and Freiburger use in this week's episode of Roadkill.
The goal: drive from Los Angeles to the Desert Bar, an isolated watering hole located in Park, Arizona, just south of Buckskin Mountain State Park. Seeing as the bar is only accessible by way of long, bumpy dirt roads, Finnegan and Freiburger opt to pick an off-road vehicle...but what they instead end up with is a caricature of a World War II-era Jeep. Although it cost $3000, it doesn't have a top, doors, windshield glass, turn signals, and -- from what we can tell -- registration.
Oh, did we mention it's slammed, bagged, questionably built, two-wheel drive, and powered by a small-block Chevy V-8?
Apart from making the trip to the Desert Bar, F&F's goal is to sell the Jeep rod and attempt to recoup their expenses (not to mention their bar tab). Will they prove successful? Click below to watch the fun unfurl for yourself.
