Graphic Disorder-ly
Brandt Fuqua at Graphic Disorder is working on the final details of his Nissan Frontier that's slated to be completed about a month before the 2005 new year. When we heard of all that's going into this truck, we felt that people needed to know about it. When completed, we hope to bring you the full feature on the truck so you can put the rendering up against the real thing. Brandt is almost always busy doing Web sites, business cards, and digital renderings for others, but has still found the time to pour a bunch of his creativity into getting his newest truck ready for show. Here's the lowdown on what to expect from his Frontier:

Stock-floor body drop; Scotts Hot Rod Mustang II independent front suspension; Corvette IRS (shortened 5 inches); big brake conversion (ZO6 brakes rear); full-custom-painted frame (nothing left from the OEM Nissan); 450hp small-block Chevy (452.7 dyno-tested at the crank); custom driveshaft; one-off BAD wheels (20/22 combo); M/A Audio stereo (four 10s, three amps, 10-farad cap, crossovers, three sets of mids, fiberglass, and so on); fully shaved; three-color LEDs; Nitto tires; three-color paint scheme; interior with leather/suede/fiberglass/sheetmetal dash, with body line continued into it; Dakota Digital flame dash; chrome ididit street-rod steering column; Painless wiring harness; aluminum fuel cell; and three Optima batteries.

Piece O' Kaik
Jamie Barnhart, owner of Kaik Products, manufactures some of the world's hottest one-off products and decided it was about time he put his custom talents to work on a project of his own. This '96 Isuzu Rodeo will feature a stock-floor body drop with a fully built tubular frame. Custom wheelwells and a tubbed firewall will accommodate 20- and 22-inch Bonspeed wheels painted to match. Black Magic Custom [(817) 271-4304] in Denton, Texas, will be smoothing the exterior, including the rain gutters and bed floor with full-on custom paint by Killer Rides [(972) 287-4855] in Seagoville, Texas. The interior will sport a bumping sound system, with a custom-built amplifier rack incorporating four 10-inch subwoofers and speakers throughout the doors, kick panels, and dash. Moonlight Customs [(713) 443-1198] in Houston will wrap the seats, dash, and door panels and take care of all the custom upholstery. The heart and soul of this entire buildup, though, will be all the themed custom billet parts, including a steering wheel with acrylic inlay, a switch box, billet speaker grilles with acrylic inlay, window cranks, a shifter, door handles, pedals, dash accents, a custom switch plate to control the automatic pop-up rear license plate, doorsills, vent covers, and more. Colorado Fix From Arizona
We recently received information on a new suspension component in production at AIM Industries meant to be a direct bolt-on for the new Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups. The new upper control arm and air-strut combination will allow owners of the newest midsize Chevrolet truck to install an air-ride suspension by simply bolting up the new components and plumbing for pneumatics. The setup claims 6-8 inches of lift/lowering by simply inflating the on-board airbag bellows. For more information, contact: www.truckin.com; www.chassistech.com.
